Looking for info on an ecu I have, it has part numbers MD166247 & E2T37274 on the case. I can't find any info on what engine it suits as my car is meant to run a 4g61 but I think it has a early 4g63 non turbo.

Its from a Galant. If you Google that MD number that's what it comes up with. I can't read Russian so can't elaborate further!

Mitsubishi ASA states that part number MD166247 is for:
E33A GALANT - SNGS, SNSS, SRGS, SRSS
Maybe Baz still has his factory ECU from his AMG Galant handy to check if the E2T37274 part number on it may even be from an AMG model?

I have all that info, just not sure if it is for a 4G63 or for 4G61.
The car is a 1990 Formula Mirage Open Wheel Race Car with a Dry Sumped Mits DOHC Engine, trouble is it has no numbers or stamps on the block and I am not sure if it has been kept to original series specs or not.

are you trying to find if you have a 63 or a 61?
pull a spark plug and measure stroke with a piece of wire... 88mm is 63, 75mm is 4g61
