Selling my CC lancer as its time to move on
Item:1993 Mitsubishi Lancer CC GLXi
Location:Townsville Qld
Item Condition it wont win God of Auto Salon
Reason for selling: new project and wife said no more cars
Price and price conditions: $3400



The good Bits

* Installed 4G63T 2.0 L one about 65000

* TD05-16g (small)

* Installed chinese Egay intercooler

* Installed oil cooler

* Installed aftermarket oil catch can

* Adaptronic 420B aftermarket unit and tuned running 7psi. very nice tune

* 2.5" mandrel bent turbo back exhaust system with high flow cat and centre offset turbo muffler

* Walbro 255 L/h

* 550cc injectors

* Excedy Heavy Duty Racing Clutch Kit (~1800 lbs)

* KYB gas struts/shock absorbers all corners

* King Low Springs all corners - upgraded to GSR/EVO size on the front

* Whiteline Strutbraces front and rear

* adjustable (18 mm+) Whiteline Swaybar on the rear

* Replaced all suspension and power steering bushes with Super Pro polyurethane

* Replaced all engine mounts with polyurethane

* Battery relocated to boot and dash mounted isolation switch added.

* Has mod plate for motor

Parts replaced in the last 6mths

* New water pump
* New alternator 90 amp
* Removed balance shaft
* new front tie rod ends
* new gearbox seals
* New oil pump gasket
* New rear main gasket
* New sump gasket
* New cam seals
* New oil pump gasket
* New timing belt

* Head gasket removed and shaved.
* New exhaust gasket
* New intake
* New tappet cover gasket
* Installed Proton Wira gearbox and Cv's. car had done 50k and has a slightly shorter ratio

Things done 18mths ago prior to rego.

* New front pads and disc. over hauled calipers

* New rea pads and wheel cylinders
* New rear wheel bearings
* Has a full interior that is unmarked

* New tail lights
* Newer windscreen


The Bad

* Paint is shagged

* has 175/70. 13 on the front with steel rims. no traction much

* carpet not flash

* front left guard has a dint. have a spare

* boot lid has a fint. have a GSR 1 with holes in it.

* drivers door as well. have spare

* has a leak from the gear box which i think is fixed


i have put 15psi into it in a tune and found it almost undrivable. it really needs some decent rubber on the front.

fun car sad to see it go.

Oh well.

I remember when this was for sale originally- such a sleeper and a bargain for the cash!

With some decent traction and 20psi, these things can get up and fly!
