It isn't running so need to figure out why but may need to change the engine harness its pretty beat up. roof rust seems to have gotten pretty bad and he said he changed drive train to all evo 3 running gear. apart from that pretty much the same.

Agreed, that thing was gorgeous.

Wasn't the guy that bought it a mechanic from Wollongong way?

No...Cronulla. ^
Cant see why a "Mechanic" couldnt work out why it wouldnt start but....apparently "didnt have time".
Interested to see what you find out as being wrong with it.

yea he was apprentice mechanic from Cronulla at the time but has since been qualified. well so far I've managed to find out that 1 injector plug wasn't connected and boost gauge and boost controller were connected to themselves so no way of reading boost. im hoping once I get a new harness and plus it all up it starts and runs good, so many broken clips/connectors its like he just yanked the plugs off. but works out well I sold it he would of spent a fair bit of change on the evo 3 drivetrain and I got it for pretty cheap lol

I remember parking next to this car on my p plates in my lancer. I admired the car so much I decided to take photos next to it. who would of thought 2 years later I would actually buy that very car.....Its about time I start posting photos of the build progress to get her back to her old glory before I stupidly sold her. car is currently get some intercooler piping made up but once I get it back ill start uploading photos.
