Does it look like this Shayne?
Rob - I saw the setup this morning when I dropped into the mechanics'. The foul looks exactly like your pic - the ring gear teeth seem to be about 1/2 a tooth too high! The flywheel is definitely stepped too.
Oh, for the record too - it turns out the old flywheel and pressure plate I've had in the car for over 10 years (from when it was a turbo'd 2.0 FWD) was a Cordia turbo flat flywheel and pressure plate setup!!!
Benincas had to make up a dowel pin for the crank (as the Cordia turbo flywheel doesn't have allowance for a dowel pin).

Looks like that big flywheel you got is only good for the big bellhousing F5M31 FWD gearboxes mate. ie. like that found bolted to the 4G64 2.4 engine in the FWD UF Nimbus etc... or return it for a refund if you can.
Your existing Cordia FWD flywheel will be good for someone wanting to put a 4G63T VR4 engine into a FWD car like a CC Lancer coupe, wagon, GLXi etc using their oem GLXi FWD gearbox.
You my friend, need an AWD flywheel pronto.

The FWD Eclipse/Spyder flywheels are still stepped, like in the pic I posted... but they are too big of a diameter for a W5M33 or normal Lancer FWD transmission

Jim Berry gave me some interesting information, turns out the same clutch and pressure plate kits are used across the 4G63, 6A12 and 4G64 variety setups. That's why the EVO1-3 clutch and pressure plate he supplied me fit on this bigger FWD flywheel.
