Hey guys,

Did anyone had any fitment issues with the japspec cyclone intake manifold into their gsr with 4g63 ?

just in general, if i get galant cyclone intake , it fits fine in the gsr engine bay with a 4g63? clearance and angle wise ?

Had no issues at all in my coupe :) it won't fit an Eco 4g63. Only the vr4. No figment issues at all

Yeah it fits, heaps of people have them.
But from memory if you're going to be removing or installing the intake manifold with the engine still in the car you would have to disassemble the intake manifold in sections.
Dont do it unless you can get your hands on the gaskets first!!!
AWD. 2 Litre. GTX3076R 0.82.

I took my mani off in my cc in one piece no problems

Jack, nutrigrain boxes have more protien so are stronger :)

They still make them :) genuine are the only metal I es you can get. Repco ect are all cardboard. So may as well save your $ and use a cornflakes box. But the genuine ones are good :) I only used a carton when putting an Eco mani on a vr4 head. The ports don't overlap so needed a custom gasket

Re-digging this thread.

My VR4 engine did not come with the cyclone intake. While engine will be out why not fit one on as it seems to be the easiest way to do so.

Is there any special fitment requirements to fit these or is it a case of un-bolt and bolt the cyclone in its place so to speak? Does ECU tune need to take this into consideration also?

The cyclone 8 runner intake is crap with the butterflies, the efi u have is best to use
