im running rota force 17x8 +35 an they are tight, there is a pic in my members ride, I have 215 45 17's on them
Hey, when you say its tight, where exactly are you meaning, I checked your rides thread but the photos didn't really show it that well, unless my phone isn't showing me all your pics, could you measure the wheel to trailing arm gap for me if you have time? Thanks Adrian that's a good idea too, might give it a go
Anyone around the Brisbane/ sunshine coast area that could spare some of their Saturday and one of their rims for a test fit? Would be much appreciated!

the best easy to get sized rim i found was evo 5/6 which is 17x7.5 +38, will fit with a 215 with minor work to the rear

that size will be about 3mm from the trailing arm. with a big tyre even closer (235)

That size would be fine, I'm not after a super wide tyre, its just the style of wheel I like only seems to be in those really wide sizes cheers, ill see what I can come up with in that size

They do these for a pretty good price too and look suit our series of lancer perfectly. You will have to pay for them then wait for freight from Japan though. Also check out the thread titled wheel offset I posted a pic of mine prior to install. I can point you in the right direction for a set out of the US they are 17x7 though but look nice. From memory were $700 delivered to my door in a p38 you could fit a wider tyre if you wanted. I have 205/40/17 and no clearance issues. If your interested let me know and I can post some pics on the car I have them in black but father in law is a painter so could hook u up with any color.check out buddy club. tripple9 are a dealer. they do a p1 in 17*7.5

They look like the grids I originally wanted he said $700 delivered in 17x8 +35, htgsr said that's the size he's running so I should be able to get away with that
