ticking most likely the lifters.....MBL8 from proma will fix that for a while....but doesnt last the full distance between oil changes if they are really bad. Some will say it is a band aid fix....but Ive used it and swear by it. there is also this to consider...when the lifter bores are worn oval...there will still be a ticking sound even with new lifters

ah ok. Doesnt sound like a usual "lifter" ticking noise that i've heard before, it's not too bad, I can only just hear it when the bonnet is closed. So not too worried. Thanks for all the help. I will put up a build ride soon. Not too sure if anyone from hear heads to Downshift?, ive seen a few GSR's there before, i'm hoping to be able to make it for this months :)
