New standard engine sourced and halfway between getting the crud off my bonnet... The only thing i found that worked was 'gun wash'

Oh no, do you know how it happened?
Idk what you're running for an ecu but did something change all of a sudden?
My old stock standard 6 bolt took 20psi everyday.
I have an RVR as well...I better not up the boost :-/ POS 7 bolts.
Jack I think he means spray gun cleaner...(maybe). I'd also like to know as my bonnet is filthy.

Just ordered forged Wisco Pistons and Eagle Rods from the States and a few other must'haves for alot cheaper than i thought.... Unfortunately for my social life ive also decided to spray the engine bay black, detail and respray the underbelly of the whole car... Shiiiit.
Who comes up with these mental ideas??
Anyway, the plan is to have it on the road, fully forged, as clean as they come and ready for some silver/grey colour changing sooner than later
Nice mate. Sounds like a task and a half. Take some pics of the undercarriage prep/paint for us!
Yeah i know, but its nice to know it'll be done 100% now... Forsure
Cheers
awesome work on the RVR. It's going to be even more awesome once you've tidied it up and put the forged engine in!!

Nice work! Black engine bays look great.

Complete engine bay.... Resprayed, everything detailed and 90% of the nuts and bolts repaced
