Hey guys,

Starting to get sick of my current steering wheel.
Was wondering if any other year evolution wheels have been known to fit ?

Undo the centre bolt 17mm from memory. Could be 19mm
Then lots of wd40 and with a mallet tap around the wheel forward and back and occasionally yank the wheel till it comes loose :)

Don't remove the nut completely, just loosen it. cause then you won't break your nose when it comes off.
Just wrestle it, pushing and pulling on opposite sides of the wheel at same time, then top and bottom. it will.be tight but it will come. do not hit the centre shaft.

I have been known to put feet on the dash for extra pizaz (older more robust vehicles)
Send me a picture of your nose after you get it off, so that i know you are listening

loosen the nut /take it off then put it back on 1-2 turns. then yank on the wheel as hard as you can with all your weight and thank me when you still have all your teeth after it lets go because you left the nut on there to stop it smacking you in the face.

Don't yank on the wheel. When you've taken the centre nut off, get your socket wrench and wrap a rag/cloth around it and use it to gently tap the back of the wheel. If you gently tap the left side then right side then left side then right side (you get the picture!!) it'll wiggle itself up the splines and come off easy as pie.

Also to fit these steering wheels, you will need to purchase a 4Gtuner shirt

Having that shirt on while doing it makes the job a whole lot easier and more enjoyable

How about a pork meat cake made in the shape of a pie with scallops around the top. For an Evo 2 wheel I'd happily cook that and deliver it.
