Not sure for cc gsr, but Evo 1-6 steering wheel all fit ones another. Even SRS STEERING WHEEL from an evo4-6 WILL FIT Evo 1-3.
I've had an Evo 6 steering wheel on my Evo 2. Just the airbag don't work. No mods needed.

GSR and E1-3 all have the same steering column...So whatever fits GSR will fit E1-3 & vice versa.

The srs wheels fit, you have to make a packer and then use your existing horn ring though, and I've got one fitted on my car, the bag is in place but the rest of the setup had been removed, I assume that means it can't go off, I'd think it would need a power signal to go off anyway?

It's been awhile since i did this mod, but its straight forward. I think there is only 1 bolt which hold the steering wheel in place. The Evo 4-6 steering wheel would have a +ve and -ve for you to connect ur horn. U might need to extend this wire. U wouldn't need to give power to the Airbag, hence it would never work. At the back of the Evo 4-6 steering wheel there is the airbag module. U would need to remove the module with a star key(similar to an Allen key) to give u room.Is it hard to fit the srs steering wheel? and is there anychance there airbag would go off? or can they be taken out.
I left the airbag on the steering wheel. Used it for 2 years until I found an Evo 3 steering wheel.
