Got a tuning day in on Friday. I haven't logged anything since the new 20g went on, so was a good time to see what has been going on.
Things look not too bad. Nice to see the injector duty cycle is getting up to the 70's with the 1000cc injectors. With 22psi and 98 pump, AFR in the low 11's, it must be making half decent power.
I have snuffed the boost spike by setting the wastegate to pop at 45% instead of the 57% as seen in the log. (works backwards for some reason, 45% means watsegate is 55% open)
Engine temps appear to be under control now. They rise to 100 as the intake temps come up, but never logged above 100c on any run. Intake temps are down about 17-20c compared to the 16g big. Still seem to be chopping air above 6K rpm but much improved over the old 16g compressor. Slower to spool under 4k but with the gearing it's not an issue that often.
Amateur tune, done on the fly with 0 skills..........getting there, slowly.
no need jamo, pod filter direct on the throttle body gives infinite power
