On my 93t the tr v6 magna tb puts the tps in the same spot as the brace (or a vacuum pipe, can't remember)... You won't have that problem but i will mention it. im using sonata 93-99 2.0 tb. same size as evo

As we spoke Brian, I did a fair few measurements and It's within 15mm of the '93 sump clearance. I cant imagine that changing too much with the '63.

@Jack, are the magna TPS's a plug and play thing, or do they need to be rewired? What about the Sonata ones?

Must carry over the 4pin tps for the Hyundai one as it has a throttle stop switch.

The conversions I have done have sagged a bit more with the 63 than the 93 when on the existing suspension....I havent actually weighed them but the 63 seems a bit heavier when lifting a block......head too....and the turbo. So it all adds a bit
I cant remember...are your coilovers height adjustable with out increasing spring rate?

if no....maybe wilkinsons can get you some higher springs

Hey George, good to see plan b progressing...
If you need anything else to get it over the line, just holla.

Wont be long before we cross paths again :)

(I think my first lap of McRae netted an easy 2.27 with some 'navigational' discrepencies on the remaining runs...... Ok it was red mist and shithouse lights!....) as a bum-o-meter reference..

Cheers and good luck..

Hey Ben.

Plan A would have been easier mate ;) Have you decided to hang on to your weapon?

Still a way off but have most of the peices needed, usually dropping the call for any parts in here and will be sure to call out for things I've forgotten. Thanks for the offer.

You coming to play at the airport on Sunday? I'm in the morning session but will be a bit hit and miss as I'll be trying to tune the boost control on the fly. By the time I get it right, it'll be time to pull the bloody thing out! Hopefully should have the stroker in for the July rallysprint and be trying to push for good results by the 13/14 series.

Be good to catch up round the traps. Cheers mate.

Hey George.

Not in for Sunday - family gig @ lunch.. Also looking at a bit less RAC, more LF series..

'Keeping' well, we'll see... Not far of being covered and a full cage ordered.. Selective events - Busselton, Barbs.. Collie. That type of thing.

Cheers.

Well, 4 days over easter gave me some time to play cars. Mostly easy going, and just waiting on a few more bits before screwing the lid on. I degreed the cams with the standard cam gears and and an old timing belt, they came pretty close (+/- 2*) but will need a tickle to get them spot on. I had to make some 10mm spacers for the fuel rail to suit the 1000cc injectors which I wasn't expecting, dont know how I missed that. E3 tensioner/engine mount front plate should be here this week too. A quick and nasty EGR block off plate was knocked up to suit.

1000cc enough?

Iv'e quitely been downgrading my expected output Jack. I think some reality has rudely been tampering with my ambition. :)

Stock 1g head , FP3 cams, stock TB / intake and TD05................. 1000cc will be plenty me thinks. Although, woulded be stoked to be proven wrong!!!

Unfortunatly Its all I can afford for the time being Jack. Would like a Garrett, but just cant spend the money on one right now. Getting married next weekend which put a large hole in the budget, but given it's my co-driver im getting married to, should have the approval to be pouring more dollars into it next year!!

Bolted some more bits on. Painted them red so it goes faster.

Faaaark me! What a week.

In-laws arrived Sunday arvo for the wedding tomorrow, fun, fun.

Soon to be wifey goes for her regular 80km pushie ride on Tuesday morning and gets belted by a 4WD (Driver txting)

Survives that albeit battered and bruised (helmets save lives kids) and is still able to walk down the aisle tomorrow with a bit of a limp and some skin missing.

Come back from seeing the doctor tonight and he won't let her fly. Honeymoon is in NZ supposed to leave Monday.

For fuck sakes. Someone tell me some good news.
