tested the leads on friday night and they all pulled through with positive results
picked up a new fuel filter on the weekend and finally managed to fit it this evening, must say not the most enjoyable of tasks, however took if for a drive and still had the same issue. This being the case i was somewhat annoyed of it not running right so slowly built the revs and then gave it a a bit of a thrash, it gradually got better and better to the point that it is not lagging at all now.
So, i was thinking is it very common that the injectors could clog up? Might look to chuck some injector cleaner in with the next tank of fuel, your guys thoughts?

dont take this the wrong way mate....you have done the basics and had a small win by saving some cash. I suggest you now take the car to someone with proper diagnostic equipment before you run it so lean that it shits itself

Otherwise I know if timing is out and I put foot down it can bog right down and take a long time before it starts climbing the revs. Probs not what yours is doing but the thought Is there

Here's a dedication song to you my dear jack
It was a party night, it was the end of school
He's head was feelin' light, the first time
She seemed much older then, she had turned seventeen
And she knew some older men, the first time
Come said the boy, let's go down to the sand
Let's do what we wanna do, LET ME BE A MAN FOR YOU
Oh-woh-woh-oh, oh-woh-woh-oh
Oh-woh-woh-oh, oh-woh-woh
And she said
Well I've been waitin' for a long time
And you've changed a lot
Up till now it's been the wrong time
To know whether to come here or not
Oh, now come with me boy, just take my hand
I'll let you see what you wanna see
Come on, be a man for me
Hoh-oh-oh, we've both been waitin' for a long time
We've both changed a lot
Up till now it seemed the wrong time
To know whether to come here or not
Oh, but come said the boy, let's go down on the sand
Let's do what we wanna do, let me be a man for you
Just say come with me boy, just take my hand
I'll let you see what you wanna see
Come on be my man for me
Oh-woh-woh-oh, oh-woh-woh-oh
Oh-woh-woh-oh, oh-woh-woh
It was a party night (oh-woh-woh-oh)
It was the end of school (oh-woh-woh-oh)
He's head was feelin' light (oh-woh-woh-oh)
It was the first time (oh-woh-woh-oh)
She seemed much older then (oh-woh-woh-oh)
She had turned seventeen (oh-woh-woh-oh)
'Cause she knew some older men (oh-woh-woh-oh)
For the first time (oh-woh-woh-oh)

Last few days started getting similar symptom. Under boost car is beginning to stutter as if running on 3cyls. However boost reaches full 10psi (stock setting).
- Pulled out plugs (only 5k old) all looked fine, good gap etc, bit on the white side but nothing drastic.
- Replaced ignitor with a VR4 unit.... no change.
- Replaced coils with VR4 units.... no change.
- Checked leads (only 5k old) all good.
- Replaced 310cc injectors with 450cc injectors just to see if 310cc are faulty/dirty.......no change.
- Tomorrow going to test for fuel pressure reg condition/operation... If checks out fine will replace the fuel filter and pump.....

I had severe lagging and yes it was a timing issue.Recently it started to return and as you stated I also pulled out my plugs (under 5k old) and they looked good as new etc. Anyway threw on a new set, problem solved.
Both sets were NGK.On a scooter forum I go to in England they seem to have quite a few problems with counterfeit NGK plugs over there .
