How are you holding your dash in place Lewis? It looks like you don't have the skeleton frame under there!

Great fan setup too btw! I'm keen on giving that a go on mine.

+1 for that fan setup, you mentioned you installed 4 fans Lewis, is the fourth one on passenger side somewhere?
I was seriously considering getting a heated windscreen before seeing this thread, definitely cheaper and just as effective it seems!

I may be considering moving my heated screen on, I am still undecided though.
With the WTA pro-am rules I can run a lexan screen......................decisions, decisions.

It still has the skeleton frame underneath, but alot of its been cut away. it still has the center and side mounts attached, but most of the strength comes from it being cable tied to the cage either side.
Its pretty flexible now, which is good as it needed to be to get in past the 'Saintz' bars in the cage!

Sorry, my mistake its only 3 fans, its been 3 years since we built it so I cant really remember correctly. All 3 fans need to be on full speed to get the maximum airflow. The only time it didnt work was after going thorugh a big water splash flat out and water got into the cabin and onto the floor where the exhaust went past, that created a bit of steam that really fogged us up. Not much you can really do for that unfortunatly. For the average cold wet and rainy day it seems to work well.

cheers
Lewis

Not for me. I need a new screen every 12 months due to rocks at the track.
