SOLD

Ok lads, I'm finally getting into my engine swap for the GSR. Yesterday the 4G93 was removed from the car and placed in the garage. I will be taking a few things off it to use on the '63 and these parts are listed below. The combination is still in excellent condition and was running perfectly when removed from the car. The only issue discovered when removing it from the car was the output shaft from the gearbox has not had the retaining ball bearing put in when the box was built (not in my time) This hasn't caused any damage, it just made it a ball ache to get the transfer case off. The shaft has not been damaged and the splines are straight. Just telling you this as I won't be fixing it as I have never worked on these boxes and I don't want to learn on a good one.

The engine / gearbox package is complete except for:

TD05/16g (exhaust mani is modified to suit and is going with sale)
Ignition coils and leads
Throttle body (I have a slightly damage VR4 one that will fit if you want that)
Gearbox to block bolts
Clutch slave
Transfer case

Things that will come with sale:

Complete front mount intercooler kit
Passenger side engine mount.

If you want to organize a courier to pick up that's fine, but pick up from Perth would be preferred.

Will separate if there is enough interest in both items.

I will add some pictures today.

PRICE: $1800ish

No worries Brian, as discussed on the phone, the output shaft appears to have never had the ball bearing, and nothing more than fingers required to slide it back from the transfer case. Thanks for your help on that.

whats been done to the engine?

Hey Clone. Fully forged with CP and Spool. Head I'm not sure, maybe been tickled up slightly. Cams are mild thbomk. I ran 20psi with the TD05 but the last dyno figures were around 220hp@w with a TD04 on 17psi. I can't tell you everything about the motor as the history is with the guy who built it, and unfortunately I wasn't involved with the car then. There are many videos a thread in the WA section to give you an idea of its performace.

George,

No worries Emil, I figured you might be interested after we talked when you got the turbo. I have yet to speak to Brian to see what he is after, but will let you know after I touch base with him.

OK, finally got to manage a few pic's. Benozi (previous owner) has mentioned a few things that were done to the motor included ARP head stud kit and a fully balanced build done by performance modifications here in Perth. (Cheers for that Ben)

I need a few things for the transplant, so some swappsies could be in order if you have some surplus stuff laying around. Need:

Good clutch and pressure plate
Good intercooler and front mount plumbing (come on Brad, you know you want to trade me that monster cooler for the G/box...... :) )
Fuel pressure regulator (stock factory unit)

Was just going to get this stuff online, but if you have this laying around and want anything here, we can work something out (big hint to you there Brian :) )

Ok, at this stage Brian has decided he doesn't have enough early EVO/GSR stuff laying around at his house, so I will be delivering it there. I will update after this coming weekend for and parts left over that he doesn't want.

Cheers.

Hi Emil, sorry missed your post here. Yes mate he has grabbed the lot.

Thanks to Brian's abundance of goodies, a trade was done for all the bit's needed to finish my engine swap. Worked out well, cheers Brian.
