Well there's obviously the fact they have bigger brakes, twin scroll turbo, wider track and can fit bigger rubber under, flashable ecu, and of course the engine is rotated 180' and I think the bottom end is a bit stronger

but they do weigh more and I hate repeat HATE the ayc but then I dis-like any driver aid things,

I drove one the other day for about 2 hours...No where near as much fun as an early model Evo..felt much heavier and no where near as nimble as my early Evo.

I only have a gsr to compare the 5 to but the gsr is defiantly more fun to drive, wouldn't give the 5 up for nothing but it does feel more serious than the gsr

My 6 is great on the track leaves the GSR for dead down the straight but the GSR feels more comforable to drive even though it's got 6 suspension (in the front at least) Did a PI in the GSR and it cornered as well as the EVO but I think at a slower speed. Down the straight the TD04 said 'wtf' and just ran out of puff. Don't drive the 6 on the road except to get to/from events, and repairs ;-)

+1. Take one for a decent test drive and see how you like it. I test drove mine for about an hour (lol may be overkill, but meh) and fell in love with it.

Just make sure you get it thoroughly inspected. Check for things like rust underneath, have the discs and pads been replaced, has the clutch been changed, bush/rubber wear, etc. There is so much info floating around the net especially on MLR, they have pages and pages and pages of stuff!
