Got hands on a Evo i like

my Evo 7 GSR

have Tein coil overs with EDFC and full exhaust just sitting waiting to be installed

its my daily really, so its just goina have some supporting mods and a new tune for now, but im open for suggestions (this is not a track car it may one day but i have no plan for it to be for a while)

so if anyone knows some good mods lay em out ill write them down

Evo 8mr or 9 turbo, a good bov, better fuel pump, tune

Ad some fic 1250cc inj then tune if u feel like running e85

i honestly dont even know where around me sells E85, i dont think ive seen a station sell it TBH

as mike said with the Evo 8Mr metal bov, any of the hra turbo's will give ya about 500 rpm quicker spool, even Mr cams are more aggressive but cams are probably not worth the effort unless ya do ya head gasket and want a cheap power upgrade while ya there
and the e85 is definatly something to think about, jump on caltex web page and check the pump locater out for e flex stations near you, the good thing with the e7 ecu is you can have dual map settings so ya can always fall back on 98

If your going to do tune injectors and maybe e85 why not fork out a little more for a decent turbo. Tomei arms M7960 springs to mind. For around $1600.00 will support around 400hp and behave like a stock unit spool wise. Jump on eBay and search tomei arms m7960 cj's in brizzy do em on egay for a good price. Mate of mine in nz has one of these on a evo7 gsr with tune injectors and few other quite basic mods and the thing is a weapon and very streetable

just thought id update my ride info a little, 

 

So no more chrome on the front, cool when i bought it, didnt take long to black out everything, intercooler,piping, badge gone, got the wing insert painted black

 

re painted my valve cover, strut brace in a cool deep red, not bad for a home job with spray cans and 2 days actually impressed with myself a bit hah

 

put in my tein coilovers, dualport turbosmart BOV, chucked some 18x8.5 25p koya drift teks in black on with Goodyear Asymetric 2 tyres, the wheels looked super agressive but just changed them to a deeper dish black wheel that looks almost the same haha

 

got rid of the stupid long aerial put in a short 2" one also cleaned the calipers as they faded + put in my subs in such 

 

next i need dark tints, black wing mirrors, Evo 8 MR black tail lights and maybe debadge or get the Evo VII on the back turned Black for effect then it looks like how i want it

 

still need a exhaust from pump pipe to cat the right size, a E9 turbo, headers and a retune to get it at the level where im happy for more then a month lol but got married in sept so that killed my savings for the upgrades, now have a bub on the way so looks like a slow progress build again haha

 

(added a pic of the front with chrome so can see the difference)
