Whats wrong with yours? Pull the cover off and take a pic of burnt bits. I may be able to fix it

G'day Jack of all, Thanks , I will try to get a photo up. theres a burnt bit by the capacitor near the drivers, but the big square chip nearby is definitely heat damaged.
Alternatively I may have found one out of a 94 GSR but the MD number is different.

in a later GSR or for that matter evo 123 the ecu runs the switching on and off of the fans. your should have a thermo switch in the radiator lower tank on the drivers side that controls the fan. If that is there no problem to run that later gsr eco or an evo ecu if you changed the airflow meter and injectors to suit

Black evo 1 full road rego and done properly/legally

I have heaps of parts...but never the one I need.

Jims ECU is "fried" and consigned to the scrap bin. Leaking caps have led to irrepairable damage.

Jim needs the ECU fan control variant. I have lent him my earlier "7040" that requires a radiator switch for the fans. So at the moment no fan control etc, but Adelaide weather is rather chilly at the moment...

Yea. Sounds stuffed. Timely reminder that if your caps havent been changed then you should be looking at doing them

At least that one looks repairable jay. Bit of a burnt driver chip is all
