GSR rebuild

The car had a serious missfire, no K frame and looked like a bag of crap. So I had it shipped back to Sydney and started working on it .
Stripped the car out as the wiring was dodgy and removed alarm, turbo timer and a load of other crap. After rewiring much of the Autronics ECU and replacing the ignitors the car was running again.
Heaps of work happening, full service= all lubricants, CV joint rebuild, brakes- dba slotted and Bendix SRT pads, plugs, timing belt kit , new carpet, steering wheel
And now some looks, found some rare Desmond Regamaster EVO’s in 4 x 114 +35, 16x 7!
Next to happen, rego, bought a genuine Evo 2 wing which will be fitted by end of week, car is heading off for a new exhaust and to have the screamer pipe plumbed back and finally a retune. Word has it the car was making 240 KW with its forged motor and turbo set up, will find out soon!

It's been awhile since last update, wife had a baby and we moved interstate for a bit. ANYWAY, things got a bit out of hand, I wanted to build a nice street car and then changed my mind... only after sourcing new carpet and E3 interior etc. Now its a sprint race/ hill climb car with rego!
So whats been done, had too change out the engine, ecu and engine harness, the old large turbo set up went and the Autronics ecu from 1995 which also had to go, it was all rooted, engine had spun a rod bearing before I got it and the harness for the Autronics was made by a blind mans dog. I've started again with a stockish motor and standard ecu + harness.
So the new good stuff- coilovers, E3 front and rear strut braces, genuine E3 Bonnet with pins and rear wing, dba slotted brake discs and bendix race pads and Toyo Prox R1R semi's all round on the Regamasters.
Safety stuff- Custom cages 6 point roll cage with side impact and additional bracing, new Velo harness, fire extinguisher and an interior strip out.
New updates to come.
