ive looked into traction rods, or slapper bars as you say.. haha

i cant get a set/kit for the jumbuck.. go figure  <_<  haha

but i can get 95% of a kit then i just need to get some bushes made up then install it all

ive got 4deg wedges which ill be testing frist tho. if its still flicking/winding up ill be getting the rods..

I think it will still wind up. As the springs are not designed to take that force. They are long and spindly and just a single leaf that is tapered at the ends.
Those 'traction rods' look pretty good. I was thinking slapper bars but the traction rods are better.
There is also pinion snubbers but the trac rods are the best.

A gopro videoing the diff movement at launch would be cool.

Ok I had to do a read threw to see where I left this off.. haha a lot has changed..

Since the last posts I have done a new feul setup, new bumpers, new exhaust etc etc haha

Ive been able to drive and enjoy my beast. drags, some small shows and club meets.

Drags, ive got the best time awd so far to a 13.1. when it was fwd its was a 13.003. So im pretty happen with that.

I'll start with the fuel system.

I've put in the evo awd tank, removed the cell & surge tanks etc. removed the factory fuel filter and added a speedflow micron filter. replaced all factory lines with braid Teflon lines. only factory line is the steel pipe that has crush fittings added to attach the braid lines. I've also added a fuel pressure sensor in this setup to. Then had -6 male fittings welded to the rail

bumpers, im about to start remaking the rear bar with changes to it, as I have learnt someone has also done the same thing to there jumbuck. so I what something different. I've swapped out the evo 3 bar for the HKS Kansia front bar looks soo much tougher.

as I added the evo tank I had to remake the exhaust, it is tight but ive made it go up and over the diff. could do with some small fixes but it works.

put lowering springs back in and got some eh holden plates to bolt everything down that have built in mounts for the shock/coilovers

also had to build some caltrax. and put some 4deg wedges in as it was widing up and put strain on the clutch and the tailshaft was hitting the fuel tank and body

Built a new number plate section in the tailgate. you can see it in the pixs

got it up and running with the brembos on the front with the wheel in the previous pictures.

New front strut braces, cusco brake stopper etc a lot of smaller stuff that I cant remember but im sure it will be cover eventually haha

enjoy the brief update I shall try to get more things up as they happen. AND yes more is happening some may guess as to some the posts ive commented on or made :P

Maybe should have put up the 60ft times to compare.

yes atm. but ive added more weight to it. then when it was fwd. ad with the setup I cant get the power down on the back end as well. can still launch it but to much back end breaks traction. I do want to put a semi ceramic clutch in so i can get abit more aggressive with it tho

ill also add. the fwd setup was a semi ceramic clutch, and I was running semi slicks aswell

Maybe should have put up the 60ft times to compare.

id have to find all my time slips to get them haha

but as above 2 different setups so its kinda hard to compare
