So its been along time since an update. and honestly not much had happened until the last few days..
Decided to bring the car upto my work where I can work on it a lot easier.
Plans are replace radiator panel with an evo panel. which I have already start to do just waiting on anew spot weld drill bit.
Once that is done replace the I/C with the new Front mount kit. put in black back headlights and new horns
Next on the cards is put the fuel tank back in and replace fuel line and put a new and different filter in the front.
Once the fuel tank in back in I'll need to remake most the exhaust, as it was build without the tank in the way
Then ill be looking into the rear suspension again. I'm sure what im doing here yet. Too many choices atm.
I'll be redesigning my gauge holders inside the car. When I start ill throw pixs up..
Now my secret that I had given away (for people that are following on fb)
Then I start prepping the body for paint and finish the rear bar.
I've started doing this..
Converting to 5 stud with brembos on the front. Pixs is with my freshly painted rims and brembos test fitted on there. These are off an evo 7. there a 17x8 with a 35 offset. might need some more camber to fit them under the gaurds
How it will look on the car
Test fit with a 17x7.5" rim with 38 offset.. on 225's
More to come in the near future!!

Finally got my drill bit. then went to town on the radiator panel.
Out with the old crappy jumbuck panel
This is how it sits atm.
this is all that will happen until the weekend , unless plans change Thursday night.

The jummy got some loving over on sunday the 23rd..
Got the brakes bolted up, replace the brake lines with braided lines
put in my new A/C condenser, fixed the power steering line.
started bolting things back together
only thing left to do under the bonnet so far is to replace the master cylinder with the evo 5/6 one. Then wack on the new oil cooler once i figured out where and how to mount it.
Then start on the rear end.
Few pixs
more to follow hopefully next weekend

Just hope you dont have to move the tank again..
You wont beat me down the 1/4 without it.
Last burnout comp at karratha had a rwd jummy competing. I heard that it wasnt a 4 banger either. Green I think.... do you know of it or any details?

nah, if i dont do a IRS conversion im leaving in the leafs. got a few ideas in mind.. or ladder bars with a panard.
4 link is too hard to setup for my setup, as i want the tank back underneath and ill have the muffler in the back aswell.
atm ive got 4 deg wedges on there way which i think will stop the diff flicking up and hitting the tank. that was the whole reason i pulled that tank out in the first place
but nah havent heard of that one at all
