I have an HKS EVC if your interested in an EBC which will hold boost much better than that bleed valve.

Mines not a bleed valve I dont think, its a ball bearing and spring set up?

Imo, all manual boost controllers are bleed valve to some degree. I guess even electronic ones are too. It's just that an electronic one has more control on what is going on. I made mine at home with stuff, for fear of being acosted I wont go into it, but in reality all boost controllers "bleed" air before the actuator. But, as I said, electronic ones are more reliable and stable.
Sorry if I upset anyone......

Hell yeah. BTW, when I changed my standard exhaust to a 21/2 inch I went from 11-12psi up to a solid 14. Given that yours is a slightly smaller turbo you may see a slightly smaller increase, however you will feel the difference before you "boost" it up Mike. Enjoy yourself buddy!!!!

Its definitely a bleed valve. As stated above...the electronic jobs do a much better of job holding boost stable.

Ahhh ok sweet :) It seems to be a cheap and cheerfull way of controlling boost. What epse would you guys recommended? Maybe a GFB EBC?
