I wouldn't bother Mike, the reality is the turbo is too small to do any good, it's clear to all that it's the bottleneck. Might be ok for a keychain or something.
A turbo upgrade is the first thing most people do before anything else is added, I guess you've now seen why.
I have a GTpumps TD05-20g sitting in my shed, let me know.
Regards your gearbox, take Mio's advice and get an Aldo build and a hi-stall TC

You can have my old 16G to try out if you want mate? Its not perfect as its got some small chips on the wheel but it still went hard on my old setup. It'd be a straight swap you could do yourself too

And as benzo said about turbos being first, I thought ya already done that and thats what baffled me about the dyno result, doesnt matter now cos the next few bolt ons are easy day jobs an will get ya to the safe power limit of the std internals
and id jump on the above 20g, see if he has a dump with it, get a new/ modified front pipe an ya laughing man

Get the auto sorted first and then look at an upgrade.
Well worth it, I reckon.
Cheers.

Best spent time is time not spent chasing later..... Just give Aldo a buzz mate, first.
If your not making the power you want you can still drive, if your box shits, then you can't.......
We all want power mate, but support the grunt first. Not having a go, just experience....

Yep, thats the way Mike. However, you do need to beef up the auto first, otherwise you will end up frustrated or with a box that will get worse dude.

I wish i had the money to do my gearbox now man After all that money in parts + head work + tune, I am done spending alot money on the car at least for a little bit. Maybe in 6 months I will look at getting the box built, however then my car would be off the road again for ages waiting on the build At least with changing over to the td05 from Lars, it should only take a day and a quick tune tweek on the dyno. I only want to run 15psi on the td05 anyway so hopefully the gearbox will be ok for a bit

You can do the blue wire mod that will run the auto with full line pressure for fast shifts. And its 4th gear that will slip first.
If your auto is in good nick, just blue wire it.
ON THE ENGINE STAND. g4cs 2.4l + Gt35r. PLUS: auto conversion + Awd coming.
thanks for parts and help: BMGTZ, EVOCPE, cwolf, Benozi, Jamo-GSR, 1JUM2NV, RXVII..much appreciated, cheers guys.

But I know where ya coming from, transmissions are an expensive thing to rebuild/ refresh,
also dont forget ya td05 will need the front pipe flange cut an rotated/ angled

Or maybe start looking at a manual?

Really? I thought as it was a TD05 from a HSG it would be a direct swap in without modification, only need to change to bigger banjo bolts and lines?

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

So after being left with a sour taste in my mouth after the head build and Haltech tune and not making any power, I was lucky enough to get a td05 16g with a slightly chipped compressor wheel but no shaft play off Lars and have ordered a 18g upgrade kit which consists of the 18g wheel, and housing to fit the wheel and a 1 bar actuator. If this doesn't make me some more power with a tune I am going to quit trying to modify cars.
