Garrett GT2871R brought brand new for $1650 back in late 2011 and never used at all, brought for a project that I no longer have,it's just been sitting in my garage ever since so its for sale!

tempting for my 180.. is there any play in it? was it pulled apart for any particular reason?

Is this the turbo referred to as the "Disco Potato"?
If it is, my mate's got one on his MK2 Escort IPRA car and the turbo has turned it into an absolute animal, even with the restrictor in place, it's making 217kw atw.

and no its no the disco potato thats a gt2860r only rated 350hp
mines rated to 400hp and has the optional .64 rear housing

Is this a genuine Garrett? Does it have "Garrett" cast into the housing?
