Hi, noob question probably.. my overflow bottle has a crack in it, unsure if this has affected my radiator or not.

What's the best way to go about replacing this.. aftermarket or stock replacement? If aftermarket what do people recommend?

Probably the same as ce lancer. Grab one from out of gumtree for $20 or less

Not unless you get an alloy one made. Which wont be cheap.

A 600ml coke bottle costs $350 here, plus you get a nice cool beverage before you throw it in, well worth it imho

Although u need to modify the lid with a T piece

Yep!! Sounds like what I'd do. Practical trumps aesthetics every time.

So turns out I have been misinformed, my overflow is fine.

I really need someone with CP9A knowledge to come and take my car for a spin and suss out things for me.
If anyone is willing to trek it to Frankston, I will happily buy you breakfast/lunch/dinner depending on the time, for your time.
I'm really keen to actually know what is wrong with my car so I know what to get fixed. Currently am not financially well being fkd around so can't afford to take it to a shop.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not much can go wrong with the coolant bottle. It either leaks or it doesnt.

No coolant is being lost, the water bottle on the other hand is constantly chewing through water, the IC sprayers are going hard too.. Clutch was on its way when I got it, but is now slipping a bit, unsure if just clutch or box too. If the water bottle is almost empty the engine puts out a lot of heat, once topped up cools right down.

Sorry dude. From your first post I thought you were talking about your coolant overflow bottle, not your window washer bottle. I edited post cause I was talking about losing coolant and that was off topic to your actual issue of losing water out the intercooler sprayer. I really dont know how I mixed them up. My bad.

sorry mate wasnt intending to upset you.you could get a seperate resivoir to use for the ic sprayer. ive seen a few of the rally boys that do it and a couple of mates done it too just because they got sick of refilling it all the time
