I have been trying to source a nice exhaust manifold cover for the VR4 motor in my Lancer GSR, with pretty much no luck- even in the 'States.

I got chatting to Resat of RES ART who has been developing some pretty cool stuff for the later model EVO guys- who mentioned that he would be able to do a run of 1g/2g 4G63 exhaust manifold covers for us if we get enough numbers.

I haven't confirmed a minimum number or prices etc with him yet- i'm just getting the ball rolling and getting the idea out there.

When I have a spare 5 mins I will confirm all the details and update this thread. If you are interested, feel free to express your interest.

Have you seen the ones Kelsport in the UK make ? Pretty cheap too. And they look really nice.

Their site seems to be down.... shipping is pretty reasonable from the U.K but if i'd rather support a local brand- Resat is a top bloke and happy to accommodate any design modifications that we need. He can also get custom etching done if we require!

And if that little trick doesn't work, does anyone know if there is a production product available for the FP manifold?

Thanks Dre for helping me post this up for the guys.

Hopefully I can be of assistance to get some of these made as I have been asked for these more times than I can remember.
I do need about 20 orders to begin with if we get close tat should be fine.

As a special for the very firs guys they will be for $100 each then a RRP of $149 each. (Feed back welcome )
If you have a special design you want on the batch of 20 original orders it can be arranged for all 20 not individual designs for each one. There will likely be a small fee if you get a personalised image on it. (Suggestion) It can be the 4Gtuner logo if you like.

I think that makes 7 in total so this is showing to be promising enough that we might actually get this finalised.

IF any of the workshops that work on these things and have a demand for them and are interested we could work out a deal to have your workshop logo etched on to it also. For the right quantity.

The 4GTuner logo would have by ResArt in smaller letters below just be warned to avoid confusion later.

I'd be interested in a heat shield that covers the ac compressor on a 4g93t exhaust is alike close thus kills the over temp switch in them
