After posting a long detailed history of my car and the internet crashing and losing all my post this one will be brief.
a I bought it 7-8 years ago
I put HKS 272 cam and a VI turbo on it and it ran a 12.5@111mph at 226awkw
that motor cracked a piston and was rebuilt with forged pistons and steel rods and FP White rabbit turbo making 260awkw, I ran a [email protected] with that set up.
that motor had a intermittent problem with the fuel pump relay causing the piston pin to break leading to another rebuild.
this motor had forged crank, reused rods from last motor (fatal mistake) FP HTA Green turbo on E85 making 340awkw and 600nmatw
I raced it once at the drags but had a broken shifter cable that I did not know about I ran a [email protected] missing 4th gear
all that was fixed and I started getting more involved in circuit racing
6 point cage and race seat fitted
best lap at QR on a damp track 59.09
next session the motor failed due to the rods not being up to the task so as the block was destroyed I will be building a 2.4
GTPumps 762 GTP and full race manifold trial fitted

Adrian I will be running a Race Fab sump on the new motor, the last one I had the buschur mod I did to the sump and that alleviated most of the surge issues.
