all back together, car sounds very good now, cyl comps all even across the 4, tune hopefully next saturday, first race meet feb 15 all going to plan

Good its going again.
it would be interesting to see if filling the old head with kerosene would show the porosity or leak area. Kero is what I use for checking if the valves are sealing properly. (Bit in the port while head is off car and on bench)

not sure mate they have some gadget that tests it, I did notice a very small dimple at the spots tested, it is from overheating I beleive, the head that was on the car was so soft the headgasket dented it where the stopper ring is
