so my first attempt at putting the engine and gearbox together didnt go very smooth, i didnt know i needed to have the throw out bearing for the OS Genkin twin plate clutch
OS on the left, oem on the right.
2nd attempt a few weeks later went a bit better
Alrighty so my alternator search has finally come to an end.
or so i thought.
Oh for fks sake... i dont know if you can see that but its about 1 rib out too far now,
its one of those 140Amp alternator from the US, i messaged the guy and he sent me the correct pulley, so that was good.
i didnt have a alternator bracket so i made one.
my welding skills go alright,
Did someone say huge tubro
Installed some solid shifter bushes
also made a spacer for the clutch pedal
Now i just need to finish all the little bits
transfer case
drive shafts
rear drive shaft
intercooler pipes
get a new intercooler
radiator
hoses
all the rest of the other stuff..

Just an idle video

Going to make up a new battery feed from the stud in the bay to the starter motor and a couple of earths for the engine to body and maybe a new Earth from front to back.

They are just like I said they would be, Hard.Nice engine mount Great build!
Very solid.
I'm pulling the engine out to fix some oil leaks in weird places so I'll drill some holes in them like we discussed while it's out.
Talking about oil leaks, how am I getting a oil leak around the #1 intake runner above the headgasket? My rocker cover doesn't look like it's leaking.. and I don't see where the oil is coming from its just dripping from the bottom bolt under the #1 runner.
