I love my solid mounts But I can understand how the vvvviiiibbbrrrrraaaattttiiiiooonnn can get a bit much for some, so the holes will add a bit of give to them.

I had solid mounts in my Integra and my civic and they were just way too harsh. I put 60a mounts in the civic and it was a lot better than the 92a.I love my solid mounts But I can understand how the vvvviiiibbbrrrrraaaattttiiiiooonnn can get a bit much for some, so the holes will add a bit of give to them.
I'm hoping drilling some holes will help.

I sent you a pm man.Nice, keep me posted on them... I'll be making some up with 4 holes in each bush soon anyway
I will drill 8 holes in each one to extra test the integrity. :]
I just pulled the engine out so I'll get a drilling and fixing.

I drilled some more holes in the gearbox mount.
I put the engine back into the car this morning.
I do have to modify the wastegate and or the radiator cause they rub.
Then I have to make this new intercooler fit.
I got a short shifter delivered this morning so I have to get my mate to make me some bushes for the whole shifter assembly cause they are all cracked and deteriorated.

Joe Gibbs racing driven run in oil
Penrite racing 10 10ths 10-40w for after the dyno.
Got the silicone hoses to fit
Made some "adjustments" to the wastegate and radiator.
And my mate picked up the shifter assembly to make me some brass and medical grade plastic bushes, so that should be done in the next week or so.
Also made up some bigger battery cables from the battery stud to the starter motor and a couple big earth cables, grinded all the earth points on the chassis to make that better connection as well.

I drilled holes in them to try lessen the harshness of the mounts. Why'd you drill the holes into the solid mounts? I've got a pair on the way from Summit Racing.
I just got it all back together, mounted the intercooler and got it plumed up.
Had to buy a new battery and that sorted out the shitty starting issue.
Started it up, it was rich as all hell. I had to half the whole fuel map. In the idle area it was about 80 had to make it 40 for it to idle nice and smooth.
I think the mounts seemed to be nicer now as well.

Why did you buy from overseas when a member here in Australia makes them, is a better question?

It was a serious question.

Why the fuck do you care where I buy my stuff from?
If your definition of contributing "plenty of useful stuff" is making smart-arse one-liner posts to try and demonstrate how smart and superior you think you are, then you go right ahead and keep thinking that.
