Gotta love the smell of paint stripper!
What are you going to do with it?
Wrinkle coat??

Oh man, it's quite strong for sure. and my hands still smell of the stuff.

for now it's just no colour silver. was going to paint it a dark blue sort of colour but I don't like sanding and all that shit.
my mate wants to paint it for me tho, so I'll give it to him to do one day.

Why not do it while its off? Then its done no more fucking around with gaskets etc...

Its to relieve oil pressure, from what I've read, you can actually gain more hp and it also stop ya seals leaking through, either -8 or more so -10 which seem to be the common one, theyre drill an tap too, ebay do them cheap
Also you should have look at setting ya catch can to drain back to the sump, nice easy job for a quiet day or weekend

can you link me to the drill and tap an fittings?

I was planning on trying to have the catch can return to the sump, that's how I have it on my honda.

I dont know if what I'm doing is the best bet/ choice, but I've got 10an to 1/2 npt straight an 90°
drill an tap sets are on ebay (use plenty of lube)
An fittings are the same too, heaps on ebay, my opinion, price varies but they all are much of a muchness, aeroflow cost more but arrive in a couple days, cheaper ones take a while... 3 weeks from one guy, but have search on ebay,
if ya still having no luck pm me an ill itemise what I got but I'd have a look at some of the gurus cars, eg dougmo's e2 has a wealth of useful knowledge and first hand experience and having started from a bone stock e2, it covers almost everything concievable

So being an Auto Electrician has it's perks. I got a brand new mitsubishi alternator.

I might have found a water pump pulley as well

I'm looking into getting a brand new power steering pump and air con compressor as well.

Just my ocd, confirming your timing is correct as your photo shows cams are 180deg according to dowel pins,

Might be able to cross reference an air con compressor with a Hyundai unit, could be cheaper...

Shit I'll have to check that again, it might not have been at #1TDC at that time of picture but I did have the timing belt off at one point after initially setting it all up.

I will check out the hyundai ac compressor as well.

All good on the timing guys. I just had the engine turned over a bit.
crank, oil pump, balance shaft and cams are all in the correct positions with the dowels in the up position as well.

I think bursons use JAS for compressors. Try them directly, from memory they were cheaper than $550.
4g63 GSR.
