it looks like I need to cut 9mm out of that block knob?

Wrong altenator. Cut that block knob and you will have bugger all meat holding altenator on. And you need to put the knob at the front- infront of the aluminum bit. Or the alt will slide back and forward.

You can get different pulleys too- sizes and offsets.

Alternator belt goes onto the inside pulley on the crank pulley...why you have the wire on the outer pulley??

nice pick up. I totally missed that

In that case id be tempted to trim the alloy down and put a washer in the back if there isnt enough in the slide adjuster.

I also measured the ally knob on the oil pump housing and it's the same as the old one?

Has the power steering and water pump pulleys arse about from what I can see...its actually missing one from behind the big pulley on the water pump

Big pulley has to be on outside and small on the inside.
The pic he posted should of brought that to his attention!

He is missing a small pulley that goes behind the big pulley on the water pump.
The ps pump has a big pulley on it and the belt from that goes to a small pulley behind the big one on the water pump.

You have it right. Just missing the small water pump pulley on the inside as said above. Alternator belt definitely goes to the front ribs and the a/c to the rear.

Possibly. Or go root one from the wreckers, even from a Hyundai. (thats for u jack)

Had a look last night and negative. I couldn't find them. May have chucked em in the last clean out
