Well, at the risk of being given the "spoon" by Jamo, I need your guys advice on some front lower control arm options.

My issues are basically that I think I have reached the limit of what my stockies with upgraded bushes can handle. On the track under hard braking, I am pulling the fronts a good 10-15mm backwards, and with the larger 45 tyres, this is causing rubbing. Without putting a camera in the wheel arch looking at what's going on, I gathering from the 'movement' marks on the lower control arms, the current support is insufficient to hold the geometry in check.

What are my options in this area? I don't seem to see any cc GSR front subframes. Racefab have front lower arms but iStupid won't view their site properly. What other goodies have you blokes used to cure this?

Do the EVO4 and/or EVO5 arms change the position of the wheels slightly? I know for sure the EVO5 arms will provide a slightly wider track but I can't be sure if the EVO4 arms do too.

Awesome George. That's what iStupid wouldn't let me look at.

After having a good search around on the web last night, these might be the go. The Momentum kit looks ok, but I've run out of left nuts to chop off. I got up to page 50 something of your build thread George, trying to sneak a peek at what you were running but no joy. Have you or are you running these?

I'll sniff around on trade me and see if I can find some good seconds. Thanks for the info George.

This is what I see under the car.

Changing to Evo I arms will lose that big squishy poly block/bushing. The Evo I jobbies have a much better bush in an enclosed steel shell like Evos II through to V, but also have the same swaybar arrangement as your GSR.

The extra caster on the racefab arms would be a big help on the track. I think dougmo has something like 10* of caster. You can get rid of most of your camber so getting plenty of straight ahead drive and still gaining more camber on the turns. Caster ftw.
Would be a pain without power steering.

My downhill mountain bike days remind me of what a good friend castor is (or rake for bikes), I guess it sort of has the same effect for cars? And I guess that my castor angle is changing fairly badly under brakes, not to mention what that change of angle is doing to the rest of the geometry.

@GSRWRC I have had a hunt around for the EVO 1 arms like you mentioned and understand what your saying, I agree they would appear to be better than the GSR ones. I guess it's up to what I'm allowed to spend.

I was hoping to be able to afford the Haltec iq3 before Christmas, but maybe Racefab arms will be more practical.

Evo 2-3 arms with offset castor bushes could be a good option for you.
I use these there in my Evo 2 castor is good! and there is less bush to deform under braking. I run 324 mm rotors and 4 piston calipers.

Im sure Brian has a spare set or i might.

^ good option for increasing castor.
When I was purchasing a set of bushes a few years back, the catalog only listed these for the E6, however the bushing is identical.
