covered by what ? freight insurance ??

read the fine print, used items are not covered , these rules apply for all couriers

I was paying $18 insurance per item with t**f******t, the 1 time I made a claim after 8 years they refused it

make sure you don't sign the p.o.d where it states item received in good condition, check the package first. signing this will clear the freight company of any negligence.

Hey mate,

I got a front bar, bonnet & guards off you in 08 ..

Type of insurance has to be specified & costs more then standard, type C for Glass i believe & sometimes requires approval.

Most definitely If the item is signed for & not checked at the time of delivery they will/may not not take responsibility. In this case i have said i will cover it & i will cover it. I would not expect a buyer to pay for something and end up empty handed ..

Happy Friday !

ahhh no probs mate

I understand now , You obviously know how it works , just didn't want people to fall into that trap  so I thought I would warn you.

I have never been successful in any claim for damaged freight ,

I'm pretty sure if you pick the class C option then it also needs to be sent with that specific service that's the catch , it can be expensive but 95% chance it will get there in 1 piece

the used item rule still applies for class C,

what pissed me off about sending freight is the item would make it all the way from japan in 1 piece only to get damaged from melb to syd.   :o

I'm going to package it best i can to prevent an "accident"  .. I can understand your frustration. You guys replaced a bonnet for me that got damaged from Melb-Newc (with no drama i might add). Was mint from Japan like you said above.

Thanks for the warning. It is my mission to get it there in one piece !

no probs buddy , your name was steve right ??

pretty well disguised ----->  after following one page to another to this brocheur  to the other page I find  is this  ----> Extended Warranty does not include failure to deliver the goods or damage to the goods caused by mechanical derangement or latent defect.

lol this means because  it's used and  we /me or you didn't check the item and apparently it must of had a defect and then while in transit that defect caused the damaged,

fark that reminds me just the other i was driving and the corner of my bonnet flicked up to 90 degree angle just like that

I see it all the time
