Hey guys,

I have been looking at different mild upgrades to my 4g63. I was wondering what people are running for aftermarket cams using stock springs?

Cheers, Mike

If you wanna run 272 cams, the smartest thing to do is throw suitable valve springs/retainers in to suit, only 272 cams I know of that u can run with the stock springs are the BCs

I think some of the early low lift HKS will go in over a stock spring.

I've got BC 272's with stock springs and they seem to be all right in my 6.

I recall getting maybe 10kw more with them and they don't seem to make the engine fell much different.

It is an awesome read and essentially explains each motor likes particular cams depending on setup.

I would have a read and then make your choice based on what you want to do.
