Sorry for all the questions hahaha

@ jack of all

build time was aroud 9 months

@ croket

yes thats a switch for 2 diffrent maps

one map for race and one map for street

thats dont work with all ecu's. the ecu must have the option for using 2 maps.

Do you have any part numbers for your eclipse ecu or any info , id like to have 2 maps to run in my car

Probably over kill for my setup but still a nice option to have a nice sedate street tune and a more agressive one at the flick of a switch

i use the eclipse 1995 turbo ecu with the ecm-link v3

with this number: MD309947

but to use this ecu in a lancer you must build a new engineloom

all other infos about the ecu and the ecm-link tuning you can find here

http://www.ecmtuning.com/

and the most of aftermarket ecu's like AEM, KMS ,Autronic ...can also use diffrent maps with a switch

It would be going in a vr4 if i was to do it , so yes most likely need to make a loom up or have somebody do it.

I like that your still using a mitsubishi ecu and pushing those numbers.

I also noticed the hump in your bonnet is from an eclipse/talon , nice touch

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure if you have the full version of ECMLink V3 you should be able to run dual maps (i.e. for E85 and PULP) using the high and low octane timing tables on the standard VR4 ecu...

In fact, I'm pretty sure there's a writeup about this on the ECMLink website and forums.

Also, that is one awesome build Matthias and I really like those gears - curious to see how they go when you ship them over to some of the guys over here :)

Well done

Great work Matthias.  I have the plastic rear windscreen and qtr windows on my Coupe, only problem is they get scratched up!

Have been looking at your gearbox build pics and cannot wait for my straight cut 3rd/4th gears to turn up so I can get the rebuild on my gearbox moving again.

What LSD did you end up using?

What straight cut gearbox parts Shayne? they're all addressed to me bwahahaha

Using the viscous front LSD would be a little more forgiving on the internals and driving hard and steering around corners.

Its a little monster Matthias
