Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of stripping the engine/gearbox/transfer case out of my A-spec VR4 to transplant them into another VR4 which means I will no longer need the shell. The shell has 200300km or so on the clock and is black in colour, car will need a respray and has a small rust bubble on the rear right hand side by the rear window (see pic)

So what you get with the shell

Motec M4 ecu
3" exhaust system
White line suspension and front/rear sway bars
New front wheel bearings
New front/rear brake pads
New front/rear slotted rotors
New front/rear braided brake lines
New front CV joints
New steering rods/knuckles/boots
Walbro 255 intake fuel pump
Cyclone imobilser (brand new)
Wolf races wheels with brand new Super Cat tyres 205/55R15 only done about 100km

If you wanted to get the car rego'd again all you would need to do is find a engine/gearbox/transfer, fix the abs (I'm assume its one of the front wheel speed sensors) reseal the steering rack the left hand side lip seal is weeping and it should pass with no worries.

I'm only asking for what I have spent in parts $1750.00ono, the shell is located in Perth WA and I'm open to offers

$1100.00ono without wheels.

SOLD.........

I've decided to keep the Hotbits suspension, was going to swap the white line suspension with the Hotbits but couldn't be bothered lol.

I'm willing to sell without wheels for $1100.00ono and I have a spare set of mag that I'll put on the shell so that its mobile.

If someone had the time and space to part this out I'm sure you would make your money back and some.

Hi George, would rather sell the shell as a whole but if I dont get any interest in it soon ill strip out the good parts

and sell them off.

I wont be back in perth for another month so if the shell doesnt sell by then ill start to part things out.

No worries Mike, I understand completely. It's no biggie, just would be something good to have in the parts draw.

Let me know if you go that path.

Cheers mate.

Lol! Nah just for the parts draw. Old mate up the road with the Ralliart E2 is going to realize soon that the stock ECU he got, is not going to play nice with the current setup in the car. Focus is going on Gumtree this weekend anyway Jack, trading in the challenger this morning on a later Pajero. The great car shuffle of 2013 is under way. :)

Yeah Mike, will do. I'll touch base with you in the next few weeks and work something out. Is it custom loom or using an adapter?

Hey Dave,

Their hasn't been any interest in the shell ATM so it's looking like I might part it out but not for a few week but I'll keep a hold of the cluster and cable for you.

Well the swap is nearly complete just need to neaten a few things up and change all oils. I tried to start it a few weeks ago but it wouldn't run.....it would crank and fire but won't keep running? I tried to hook up my laptop to the haltech but my computer would detect the ecu for some reason.

Hopefully it's an easy fix, thinking it might have something to do with the CAS but not sure. I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to see if I can get it to run with a little luck :-)

How's your car going? I thought you were going to sell it at one point?
