Anyone here have or can recommend high mounting the old snail? the TD05H-60/1 is bigger than i thought haha

What does it hit??
If it hits the block, just use a spacer between manifold and head

Too low and hits the block with the 6boost mani,going to make a new mani i reckon

what part of the turbo hits the block because it's usually just the wastgate actuator. it has 3 blot ports one is to bolt the hard water line too cut this one off and it should clear

Nah man its not like a tdo5-16g its got a fair bit bigger compressor housing man and the housing hits

My td05 20g only juuuust fit, but that was due to the fan shrouds and dump pipe clearance with the plumbing going down near the a/c compressor.
Isn't that turbo mitsubishi flanged? Have you tried it with a factory manifold?
I think top mounting may give you bonnet clearance issues.

No way in hell will it fit on a factory mani hahaha im going to make it fit dont worry, im not running a/c i was considering smaller radiator and forward-ish facing manifold

You'll be supprised how the oem mani will make it sit, I remember Listers old EVO3 had same style turbo with the bigger comp housing, he used an Forced performance mani or GT pumps mani and had to space it away from the head

Clock the comp housing so the outlet points down, that will give you more room to the block
