rear windsreen garnish goes under neath.

theres 8 clips that go under the windscreen glass. and 6 that connect to the rain gutter lugs.

the lug clips are more square and have a springy inner that clips over the lug

the window clips have a tag off to one side that slips under the glass

Blue ones have legs that go under the front windscreen. Then the mold clips onto them.

Either of these go under the glass then mold clips to them

Hmmm. Think you boys have that back the front.

Red ones go down the windows front and rear. Others go along the roof....

The red ones do go along the windows your right there...my mistake.

But the blue / purple ones definitely go under the edge of the windscreen mate

What are the part numbers for the strips and the different clips?

Wouldn't mind ordering a new set for my car via http://www.amayama.com/

I would appreciate the P/N for the stuff needed to change the rear window bottom weather strip too. Mine's flakey and horrible.

Also, would anyone happen to have the P/Ns for the plastic diffuser, little rubber strip and trim clips that goes under the front windshield?

ive got all the read clips on the body and the actual strip i have the blue ones at the front and pink at the bank as well as the black ones "5" of them on the top. The back window clicks into place just fine!
but the top and front windscreen still wont click or hold, im really tempted just to fucking sikaflex these fuckers on as its really annoying me . Someone must have found out the correct procedure to replace these

Does anyone know the part number for these clips?

I've got the black weather strips and the blue & purple clips but don't have the red ones (it never came with them when I bought it :( )

Damn, I already ordered 12 from Mitsubishi...$60

:(

I still have no idea how the red ones attach to the purple/blue clips. I'll ask my mechanic to fit them during next service.

They dont attatch to the purple / blue clips. They attatch to the pins that are on the body of the car.

When the strip is removed you will see what I mean.

Yep, I get that, the red clip attaches to the pin (it looks like a head of a nail not full hammered in) on the body. But then how do the purple/blue clips attach to the body?

So what is the purpose of the red clips then?

I test fitted the new weather strip on and was able to put the top and back part of it (don't ask me how I did the back, I just pushed it down, heard 3 clicks and it was secured). The front ones don't click and don't hold the front part of the weather strip in place.

make sure you dont have the window glue all the way to the edge of the glass or the clips wont have enough room to clip under it . i trimmed all the clue since i had new rear and front windows put in and to much glue was my problem.
