Personally, I like manual boost controllers. They also happen to be cheap!
You should be able to run 1 bar, which will give you another 60-70hp.

I would think your power is ok for that boost, stock evo 3 don't make that much power

Stock figures of the RVR HSGR and Evo3 don't differ that much.
RVR HSGR = 250 engine hp
Evo 3 = 280 engine hp
The drivetrain is about the same so the losses should be nearly the same too.
I don't think an stock Evo 3 makes 250 hp at the wheels.
