Started the evo I today.
ABS light stays on in the instrument cluster.
Heater does not work (clock displays time but buttons for fan and temperature do not do anything and fan is off).
Defroster for rear window does not work and little orange light does not turn on in the switch.
Power windows don't work. Tried both front door switches. Nothing.
Any ideas?
Really confused.
Instrument cluster seems fine. Lights are on, instruments function correctly. Radio works fine.
Thanks in advance!

Was running perfectly fine before this. I did not do any work on the car in the past few weeks.
I will check all the fuses in the morning when there is more light. I suspect one or more blown fuse. Need to find which one(s) and need to find out why it blew...
Are the functions I described all on the same circuit?

I would be checking all the fuses first as you said...is the battery charged properly?

Checked the fuses under the hood and inside the car. All were good except for the folding mirrors (which had not been working for a long time).
The plot thickens.
Will check power to the fuse boxes...

heater/defogger 10A fuse inside the car gets power. The large 30A defogger fuse under the hood does not.
I assume the circuit inside the car triggers a relay somewhere. Where/which relay is it? If the relay is not switching, it would explain why there is no power to the 30A fuse under the hood.

On a CC GSR...
There is a defogger relay under the dash where your feet go
From memory, the light on the defogger won't light up without the relay working (We'll the switch will turn the relay on, and then in turn, the bulb will light up, but In my case the globe inside the button was blown but you could see the defogger working).
Download "CC Lancer coupe & Mirage Electrical Diagrams 92-96"
Open up "CC Lancer coupe & Mirage Chassis Electrical 92-96" > Look at Pages 88 to 91
1. Check Fuse is No 15 (which is annoying because the fuse box isn't labeled in numbers, but description)
2. Check the Defogger Relay
If you open up "CC Lancer Coupe & Mirage General Electrical 92-96" > Page 17, 22, shows the diagram for the fuse box labeled by Fuse Number, not description.
Hopefully that helps, I know this is for a GSR not Evo, but I imagine it would be the same if not similar
I don't know if its got anything to do with power windows though :S
Probably further up the wire? Sure no plug has come loose?

Mate, not sure.. I can only look through the electrical manuals that are able to be downloaded from these forums.
I have seen this (which seems exactly the issue regarding power windows, defogger, heater, abs), but you say all the fuses are ok, so not sure what to do. Perhaps this might help, or give you some direction, otherwise probably easier to go to an auto electrician, and then let us know what the issue was.

Thanks for the diagram.
Everything is working fine again! Victory!
I am not sure what did it as I did a bunch of things. Some connections were dirty. Cleaned them up with contact cleaner. Also replaced fuses.
So far so good. Will keep an eye on it.
Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.
