I'm looking to replace the rear main seal on my Evo iv GSR but I'm having trouble finding the part. Does anyone know if one from a later gen Evo will fit? And also if I'm look for a '6bolt' or '7bolt'. Thanks guys!

Evo 4-6 are all the same as far as I know.
The engine is a 7 bolt.

Should I buy both parts? I'm having my clutch done soon and was told it's a good idea to do the rear main seal, so should I do the other as well?

Yep you're right thanks for the help. On a side note, any other things I should change while the tranny is out? Or things to look for? Thanks.

No probs. I would change the throw out bearing on the clutch too. Which should come with clutch kit anyway.

Yeah the bearing came with the clutch kit so that's all good. Thanks again. Cheers
