G'day

Are there options for windscreen wiper motors from other cars that fit the VR4. Mine is slow as.

Cheers

Ross, our gravel rally VR4 had slow wipers as well. I think the boys tracked it down to a hi resistance power supply. Water and dust in a plug ? . Any way , it hurt the motor, and combined with another VR4 wiper motor , lubed up arm pivots and a loom connection , it is like my road VR4 ie nice and fast !

Cool, Thanks.

I will disassemble the plugs and give them the Wurth treatment and grease the knuckles.

Let you know how it goes.

Cheers

Ross

If you need a new motor just grab one off any other galant of the same vintage. Mine was stuffed and I just got one from the wreckers of a low km se.

ECM Link, 399 MAF, 560cc injectors, 270 cams, TD05-20G @22psi, 3" dump, full 3" mandrel exhaust, intercooler, Fidanza alloy flywheel, 4 bolt LSD, EVO IV brakes, Strut braces, coil overs and sway bars.

I'm having a weird issue with my wipers at the moment....  Wipers stopped working. Then my starter motor shat itself - and they were working again!.

...now that I've replaced the starter motor, and I can actually drive it normally again; the wipers don't work! Seems strange if it's related.
