PRICE REDUCED TO $ 15000

 

It has come to a stage where I'm needing to sell my car, this is a reluctant sale but it needs to go ..

 

 

For those that have seen and been a passenger in the car, they know it means business!

 

the list of bits and pieces and mods is very long I will try and list what I can remember (I am getting old) as to justify the price I'm asking. 

 

Just to start!

I will not sell this car to a newbie (under 24)  it will kill you or you will get it crushed. (and I don't want either)

 

LOCATED in Brisbane (southside)

 

EXTERIOR -

1994 GSR lancer - white sedan

tow bar

carbon fiber vinyl bonnet and graphics

front splitter is a bit average looking but suits the car, unfortunately has a bit of race damage but nothing bad

17 inch wheels with standard 205/40/17 maxxis rubber (street use)

17 inch wheels with Nitto NT01 semi slicks for track use  (note all the wheels are the same design wheels)

 

INTERIOR -

OMP racing bucket - drivers only (you shouldn't be racing with 2 or more people in the car)

other seats are standard

Isotta flat bottom wheel

OMP 4 point harness (drivers only)  have a crutch strap that isn't installed that comes with.

can sell with or with out stereo but it will not affect the price very much

     alpine double din DVD touch screen head unit ($2000 in it day)

     alpine mono block 1000w PDX 1.1000 ($1000)

     alpine 4 channel amp 4x100 PDX 4.100w ($800)

     JBL pro 6"midbase

     focal K2 tweeters

     Image dynamics ID Max 12

     dyna mat and inter connect  blar blar you know the stuff.

 

- gauges    Auto meter Oil pressure guage

                  Tech edge LA1 wide band AFR

                  Gizmo shift light

                   K4 knock sensor (obsolete now running on E85)

                   Blitz SD ID2 boost controller - no not the pretty colour one the one before

stroked to 2.397 cc

JE pistons ceramic coated by HPC

Eagle rods

Balance shaft removed

Grouted block

modified oil squirters

std 4g64 steel crank

new OEM oil pump

HKS 5 layer head gasket

all ARP head/main/rod bolts

new bearings

cleaned up head ports (mild porting)

Kelford 272/264 cams

adjustable cam gears

Fluidamper harmonic balancer

Custom alloy plenum and 80mm throttle body

Cast stainless steel exhaust manifold with Ext wastegate porting (also has ferrels welded in for EGT probes)

Tial EX 38mm wastegate

Garret GT3082 B/B Turbo with hi-flowed front cover also surge slots machined in

3"dump pipe

3 inch exhaust

3 inch metal cat

3 inch muffler   chrome for the ricers     with a 5" dumpy on it not for the ricers 

(the car idles at 92 DB - QLD limits are 88db MAX 4500rpm)   Angriest mongrel you'll hear for a long time!

All block machining done by Jack Bros engineering

All balancing done by some bloke over the northside of Brisbane that his name escapes me (but he does group A engines and lambos)

There is probably heaps here I have missed.

 

ELECTRICAL

Haltech PS1000 ECU

TC4 thermo amp for 4 x EGT's

injectors - ID 2000's

coils LS1 coils x 4

Flex fuel sensor for ethanol - wired to haltech

MSI laptop for tuning - including the bodgy frame to hold it so can drive and tune (which is illegal BTW)

has launch control and antilag (not great for turbo BTW)

surge tank in rear right under guard

2 x bosch 044 fuel pumps

walbro lift pump

Edelbrock adjustable fuel reg

twin fuel to fuel rail

lots  of speedflow

 

probably heaps more here too

 

Clutch plated rear LSD

Viscos front LSD

evo 5th gear and full preloaded gearbox

3.55 final diff ratios

what does all this mean??  260 kph top speed

 

has full mod plates

 

previous tune on pump fuel made 275KWS ATW on 18psi

Currently running on E85 fulltime

has not yet been dyno tuned for E85  estimated power as it sits untuned 250KWS

Should be able to run 24PSI all day once tuned  - potential power (not guaranteed) 300 plus plus

 

Asking Price $20000 <--  Price change $15000 (stereo and twin plate clutch removed from deal)

 

there is also a quartermaster twin plate clutch and flywheel to go with it (removed to isolate a past issue just never got put back in)

 

heaps of gearbox spare and bits and pieces

 

there will be no joyriders

first person to drive will probably buy

Just made me more keen to want to go for a drive, in the passenger seat of course! Maybe use it for the fastest mexican deliveries in the country?

I see too many young kids in high powered cars sitting on the side of the road with the front end stoved in because they were too immature to handle a dirty old commodore or better still dads new ford ute.

 

Can you imagine the phone call from the parent

 

but the car does mean Business

I'd tell them they should have raised their child to have more common sense and respect for their possessions and that they should feel personally responsible for any damage/death their offspring has caused - then thank them for the money and hang up    .

 

Car looks great - I really like how the front end looks all business.  Is it an EVO3 front bar?

lol.. I got a good laugh at some of the comments.

A sad day indeed. Troy, this car is a weapon with a lot of the good gear in it already setup to make well over the conservative 300kw atw you mentioned!!! (I more inclined to add another 100kw on top of that!!)

It really is fun to drive. I will miss it

I know it seems like a lot of dollars but once you have driven it, you will understand.

 

I've put it around lakeside and it is truly fun I think I had a grin from ear to ear every lap. (if only those stupid Hyundai's weren't on there )

 

I've had a think and I'm negotiable on the price a little. (don't bother offering 10 K coz that won't happen

ENGINR :  no that is a Aussie GSR bar with a heap of panels, splitter and canards attached  

 

unfortunately not built for looks but for handling and ease of rebuilding should you find something in your way.
