Hi All,

i didnt really want to make a thread but realize i was spamming someone elses so i decided to just create one anyway.

Anyway, long story short with a little bit of history......

My passion for EVOs started a long way back but due to the high cost of auto mobiles where i come from it was always going to be a pipe dream.

Anyway fast forward 2007, i could finally afford my first EVO. EVO VII it was and this was about the time Austraiia were getting them in.

Back then, Voltex was all the craze...much to my regret later, but there was no turning back..

That's just cruel.

Do I see some signs of Race Torque in those pictures?

The black Mac still does it for me. Got the best lines.

the 8 MR was certainly my favourite with the Tommi a close 2nd only because the 8 was newer.

I hope i do this E2 some justice. Always wanted a 3 but the 2 would be good enough, already sourced some E3 skirt, rear pod and wing. Left the Front to go but the E2 is growing on me.

The only thing bothering me on the earlier model EVOs are the wheel pattern. Very limited with 4 x 114.3, i was fortunately to source some BBS for this.

I like the 1-2 fronts. A lot more than the 3s. They are more subtle and not so aggressive. And better for kerbs and such.

I like the 2 front bar too....that black lip on the bottom sets it off...and not every man and his dog has one on their Gsr Evo wannabe.

awesome mate, but already bought disk and pads haha, might think of the swap when they finish up.

Yeah will probably keep the E2 front and install the E3 sides and rear, and spend on bushes instead to get the car up to speed.

Been looking at these as well http://www.ecmtuning...&products_id=44

any comments or options for tuning on the earlier Evos?
