Hey guys,
Has anyone used one of these compressor covers on their TD05 20g?
It doesn't look like there's anywhere to bolt the wastegate actuator to?? Maybe i'll go external instead. Hmmmm.

Actuator bracket bolts to the back of the compressor housing. Both bracket and the actuator to suit can be purchased from kando.

If you email them they can supply an actuator to fit
I enquired about this about a year ago

Thanks for the replies guys. Anyone know how much more these flow compared to a ported TD05H housing?

The actuator setup is absolute dogshit. The attaching bracket flexes above 18psi and causes all sorts of dramas. Only way to sort it out is to run external. I still had the occasional surge with that cover too.
Solved both problems by buying a Holset!

ran this on a mates gsr along with the turbine wheel, we didnt use the internal gate as they sent us the wrong one and we were really pushed for time. end result on the car running eflex and 21 psi was 240kw atw. car comes on hard and pulls to redline. will get a pic of his dyno sheet.

I still stand by my original comments....I had nothing but trouble with mine using the Kando supplied actuator setup.

Awesome replies thanks guys. I already have issues with controlling boost over 22psi, and that's with a ports wastegate, larger flapper and split dump pipe that merges about 30cm down the front pipe. Someone mentioned that the MAC valve I am running may be the problem. Maybe i'll just bite the bullet and go external anyway- they have never let me down in the past.

External for the win....

Large wastegates aid with running low boost without spiking/creeping. If you're getting spikes over 22psi, external seems like the way to go.
