g'day all...
have just purchased a jumbuck with a vr4 4g conversion, and am keen to get some 4wd action happening...being absolutely useless on the tools, i was hoping that someone who's been there & done it can give me an idea of what is required, or even if there is somewhere in the greater sydney area that could do the job for me...
thanks in advance people!

it's been done twice before that i know of i beleive they're both in WA
it require the sourcing of some very rare parts. it is not as simple as an awd conversion in say a m21/lancer/satria etc almost nothing is a direct fit (in the rear end)
yes it's me KHUBNER

If you have lots of money....Meek Automotive will be able to help with a drive in, drive out option.
Doubtful that it will be a cheap exercise but.

As jamo says, its a big job with lots of mixed parts. Not for the faint hearted.
Maybe go auto fwd? at least it will launch a bit easier

well with a gti gearbox bolted to the 4g63 @ the moment and a 2.1 short block from built4g63 on the way, i'm not entirely sure how long the satria box will last, hence why i'd be keen to explore the 4wd option - also, power + fwd will equal epic torque-steer i think!?!..feel free to correct me if i'm wrong..nah jack, not rumbuck's ute...

Since fitting one I've found my new 210fwkw setup basically has zero traction issues compared to the previous one without the lsd and 140fwkw - which had basically no grip in 1st or 2nd.

Is that for sale Rockabilly?
I offered it to the poster, who is going to come down this weekend to have a look.
If he doesn't grab the box & clutch, are you interested ? PM me.
