Technology guys - there are heaps of wheel cleaners available that do a fantastic job of removing brake dust
Step 1: Spray on
Step 2: Consume favored alcoholic beverage
Step 3: High pressure clean
Step 4: Look back and admire whilst consuming another alcoholic beverage

They pop up from time to time on the forums etc.
Do you need them to clear Brembos? If not you can pick them up for very cheap a set (suit Evo 4). Very cheap being well under $1k for a set (like the set that mrcyborg appears to be selling. 17x7 in 5 stud is of very little use to the Evo community as their +46 offset wont clear brembos).

Thanks Missile! Yeah I remember them being cheap. You could buy them new a few years back I'm pretty sure for like $1200-$1500.
I have some 4 stud tarmacs on my VR4 but I want to do a 5 stud conversion and I really don't want to give up the look of the tarmacs.
I might have to hit up MrCyborg but freight will probably be a deal killer.
OP, in the case I can find some good condition 5 stud tarmacs, I could sell you mine but that set Missile posted from Ebay looks like a winner.
I probably won't get around to doing the conversion anytime soon. Need to source some hubs from America.

Just need to use a good cleaner, I use a spray foam wheel cleaner and let it sit on there for 3 minutes and use a paint brush to give them a wipe and then hose it off
A mate had a set of 17s tarmacs 4 stud in he shed, they need to be blasted and either painted or powdercoated. I'll see if he will sell

This is true ^ but it's worth the pain imo.
I probably wouldn't say that if I had any more than 5 spokes though. Lol
