Im pretty sure that some how my exhaust manifold is damaged or cracked or something. I've changed all the studs and used new nuts got a new gasket cleaned both surfaces and tensioned the nuts tight and there is still a leak in my manifold so I can only assume its the manifold itself, I did look over it before I put it back on and I didn't see anything wrong but is there a way I could tell 100% if the manifold is stuffed?

so the "danger to manifold" light didnt come on?.....
the manifolds are prone to cracks..get a hose about three feet long....bung one end up to your ear and use the other end to find the crack or leak by moving it around the manifold while engine is running

It's surprising how much the surfaces can warp.
Every time I have had my turbo off or every 1000km I have had to get both faces re surfaced, you could probably get a few resurfaces from them,
before replacement for a new one.
Could be a possible caused as previously mentioned.
Or the tiny hairline cracks.
Not leaking around the dump pipe to turbo?

its just got me so stumped on why its doing that. I had to rewire the plug to the loom but I colour matched the wires so I don't think that's the problem. ill just worry about fixing the manifold I guess then worry about the afm
