I thought I would finally get around to posting yet another build thread.

I was given an awesome opportunity to purchase  Trippys FWD drag coupe as a roller, no engine or box woohoo.

Fast forward almost a year and it is still sitting on my hoist at work lol.

Specs Engine out of my yellow lancer

4g64 with all the fruit

De stroked to a 2.1

Alloy rods

JE Pistons 10.5:1

CNC head

Starting off with a GTX3076 turbo no intercooler(methanol)

Mechanical fuel pump

Auto built by Aldo(Rockabilly)

Custom diff ratio

Koni Suspension

Traction bars

Haltech E11, cdi etc

15X10 Convo Pro wheels 26X10 Slicks

Left to do list

Wire in Haltech

A few little bits and bobs and its ready to rock and roll

Goals for the car will be getting it down the track in a straight line :)

That's not a dry sump pump Benzo it's the fuel pump :)
And why isn't this bright yellow yet?

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

It can rev to 10-11000 but I'm going to set it to 9000-9500 with the smaller turbo

When I step up to a bigger turbo ill rev it harder

I'm starting with a small turbo(GTX3076) and that should be enough to run a 9

This is the set up out of my yellow car and it ran a 10.8@129 on 22 psi weighing in 3000 lbs with me in it(now getting a 2.0 auto e85 with 20G)

The coupe will come in around the 2200 lbs with me in it, So I'm guessing a lazy 140 mph on 22 psi is on the cards
